Interview with Dr Kevin Mitchell, neuroscientist: "Synesthesia is a strange condition, where some people perceive addtional extra sensations when they hear particular sounds or see shapes, letters or colours.

Certantly there is lots of examples of very creative people who are synesthetes, and whos artistry, music or painting, was informed by synesthesia and who put an effort to communicate their subjective experience.

Composers synesthetes such as Liszt, Messiaen, artists like Kandinsky.
